Hello!
I'm Grace Zimmermann, a graphic designer and illustrator with a love for all things vintage—and a passion for branding and design through graphic storytelling. While pursuing my bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communication, I’ve had the opportunity to create social media and communication materials for established brands like Hitachi and Rain Bird. I’ve also illustrated and designed for local organizations such as the Center for 21st Century Studies and Simon's Gardens.
Whether it's building a visual identity or crafting a compelling graphic narrative, I aim to make the mundane feel magical with a splash of imagination and thoughtful design.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me playing the accordion or taking long walks in the city.
What's with the rats?
Rats symbolise many things—some good, some bad. To me, rats represent a fighting spirit. Despite the trials and tribulations, the rats persist. They are clever creatures—social, resourceful, and resilient.
I aim to approach design as a rat. I learn to adapt when things change and seek out solutions to complex problems. I build a network of creatives and take advantage of the tools at my disposal—always learning. With this mindset, the rat became a symbol for me.
